Beautiful place, stunning views, superb service from Gareth and team, we immediately decided to extend our stay after the 1st glimpse of the place. The friendly zebras made us feel even more welcome. It made the 7 hours drive worthwhile.

An absolutely stunning place. Perfectly situated as a base to venture up the pass. The farm is fabulous. We would have loved more time to do some fishing. Gives us a great excuse to come back. Gareth assures me there’s some trophy trout waiting!!

Very scenic, it's relaxing, serene and beautiful. So spacious in terms of covid that you can't see your neighbors, making it an ideal place to escape the hustle and take time out for yourself with your family.

Amazing stay , was worth the drive from the south coast. The staff goes beyond and above to make your stay comfortable and unforgetable and Gareth and his wife Samantha are true gems in the hospitality industry , nothing is too much effort for them . The wildlife is unbelievable and waking up to those amazing views and zebras on your lawn is quite the special sight . Very beautiful place. Beautiful view. Wild animals in the garden. Nice fly fishing. Friendly staff. And a very cool owner Gerard. Very helpful and full of knowledge about the area. Delicious breakfast. But ... The braai is highly recommended and you shouldn't miss the bobottie. So book 2 nights to experience all this goodness. In 1 word. Awesome!!!!

Beautiful luxury chalets on the water's edge. Great birding and waking opportunities. Friendly staff. Massage on the chalet's deck was stunning.

Had the most amazing time with the most amazing views

This is one of the most quite places on earth. The chalets face the lake and you can sit and relax while watching the zebras and horses come for a drink. The view of the Drakensberg mountain is just superb. Lovely chalets. Clean with everything you need. You can order meals from the main reception or do self-catering. A beautiful place for hiking. If you climb to one of the hills you will be rewarded with a wonderful view. Next time we want to visit during snowy winter.
